The opening act of the evening will be the American duo Sungazer, who are adventurous in experimental music . Ticket sales for the concert will start on Lippu.fi on Friday, September 26 at 12 noon. Multi-talented guitarist-composer-producer Plini rose to prominence with his 2016 solo debut Handmade Cities , whose follow-up Impulse Voices (2020) cemented the self-taught artist's place at the forefront of his genre's trendsetters alongside long-time guitarists such as Steve Vai , Joe Satriani and John Petrucci . Currently working on his third studio album, due out in 2026, Plini's most recent release, the live album Live in North America , was released in August. The virtuoso, who also enjoys the popularity of a dedicated audience in Finland, has a strong bond with our country, as the artist relies on products manufactured by the domestic audio equipment manufacturer and software developer Neural DSP in his production. The collaboration has also resulted in the creation of a plug-in Archetype bearing Plini's name: Plini X. Founded in New York in 2014 by bassist Adam Neely and drummer Shown Crowder, Sungazer boldly straddles the boundaries between fusion jazz, electronic music and progressive rock. The band, which recently released its critically acclaimed second studio album Against the Fall of Night, has performed in front of sold-out Finnish audiences at its own club shows and at Pori Jazz in the summer of
